Experimental Acoustics.
This project was initially an experiment to learn about acoustics and speaker electrical. I wanted to keep the design simple yet have purposeful proportions and balance. It has a welded steel box with spalted maple face and back. The wood was milled by my father and myself a few years ago, from a tree that was becoming a hazard and had to be removed. It has steel rid buttons on the top to adjust volume and such, and a simple toggles switch on the front face to turn it on and off. By keeping the shape simple, it allows the beauty of the maple to be accentuated.
